![]() Hearthstone isn't trying to be MTG it doesn't need to copy those mechanics directly. I don't really think interrupts and the like are a necessary mechanic to begin with. ![]() Maybe with later versions they will add a set card which you pay mana to do/use It will have to be something we look into. ![]() That being said though it does reduce the skill cap needed to function in the game, which isn't all that bad, and also removes one of the issue of play which is someone breaking your set up with a really cheap move, looking at you Black Hole from Yugio and counter decks from MTG. I won't be able to play one of my favourite decks, that being a Blue dredge/counter deck, which is sad. While I think that this game will be an amazing innovation to the CG genre with the addition to a static income of mana which face it can be an annoyance in MTG and no need to sack to set up stronger cards this does feel like an oversight to be honest. You essentially just have to deal enough damage in one turn while the opponent can only passively watch.Dear lord you are right. No traps to activate during the opponents turn. ![]() No metagame with leaving ressources open for counters and having anti-counters. I just found out with disbelief that you can't do anything during the opponents turn. ![]()
